Add a hyperlink to a web page that is either terrific. Appraise the site, and defend your assessment.

TextExpander is a terrific web site. It has great icons, it is well laid out, and it is EASY to find what you need.

Mr. Coley has done a good job as making the site easy to the eye and has placed important links that are easily visible.

I decided to look at some of the tv news websites. I liked the channel 7 news website  because the set up and the background colors were pleasant to look at and the information was easy to find.

I like the navigation: it's simple, it's on the bottom (which is rare), and there are mouse over effects (when you put your mouse over an element, it changes).

A site like this could easily get bogged down with too much information, but the navigation keeps it well organized.

I really enjoy viewing this site.  Mainly because its constantly updated.  There is a surfing competition currently going on in Huntington Beach, and before the night falls, updates on standings, raw footage, and even edited film from the entire day is uploaded.  From a fans perspective, this is a great advantage.

Also the main page has just what the surfers out there are interested in.  Not too many advertisements for products, or wondering where to search for video or pics.

I must say that I am a little biased towards these two sites but I do frequent them everyday and they are at least worth a mention.

http://www.engadget.com

This is my reference for all techy geeky toys that have come out or are coming out in coming months. This includes consumer electronics, cars, video games, etc. I like this because of the comments, ratings and the entire site is searchable.

http://www.versiontracker.com

This is my primary site for all things related to software. this lists all freeware/shareware/ and trial software for purchase software for wither Mac/Apple or PC/Wimdows. It also lists version update notes so you can tell the difference between software versions and has a reliable ratings system. I subscribe to the email alerts so I am aware when new versions are available for software I am interested in.

This is the church I grew up with when living out in this area.  I recently went to this site to check up on the latest news.  They are on top of the latest sermons being available to listen to (audio only), watch on video, or even podcast.

I really enjoyed the drop down tabs on top.  How they don't only appear, but almost fade in and scroll down.  Background moved when scrolling down the page, and the color was pretty good.

I really like the NIKE site. It is well segmented and organized. The navigation flows and the use of Flash is great. The colors pop out at the user and even if you're not interested in a certain area of the site, you might find yourself exploring just for the fun of it.
