1. BlueHost offers unlimited file transfer, name hosting, and storage space. It’s a great deal, customer service is great, and the company is reliable.
2. As you sign up for BlueHost for web hosting, you will also want to purchase your domain (mine is billselak.com).
3. Log into the BlueHost Control Panel (cPanel). Halfway down, under Software/Service, click on WordPress. It will take you to Simplescripts. Click Install. Step one: You want to install the latest version. Step two: Give your blog/website a name. Create a username and password. Check the box “Automatically create a new database”. Step three: Agree to the terms. Now, install. When people visit yourname.com, they will see your WordPress-powered website.
4. Your website looks generic so far. Let’s add a theme. Go to http://www.yourwebsite.com/wp-admin. Log in with the username/password created from step 3. Click on Appearance > Themes. Click on Add New. You can browse and install themes that will change the way your website looks.
