This course explores the use of Web-based technologies in an educational context. The class focuses on the implementation of these technologies successfully in the classroom. Attention is in the areas of audio and video podcasting as well as developing strong collaboration between students using Web 2.0 technologies. Icon Sets
If you want to display social media icons, go to WP Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets > Text. Drag Text onto the sidebar. Paste the following code into the box:

Customize your links. After the href, type in where you want the person to go (ex- http://twitter.com/billselak). After img src, paste in the url/location of where the image is located online. Click save, and you’re set.

Jing gives you embed code
If you screen capture in Jing Pro, you can upload to YouTube, and the embed code is copied to the clipboard.
Embed Video
If you upload your media to YouTube, or another media host, it will automatically create an embed code for you. You can paste it right into your website. Here’s an example:
