Assignment: Video Podcast
Create, edit, and post one standards-based video podcasts. Podcasts:
• Can be instructional, or an example of a project.
• Must focus on an academic area (math, science, P.E., etc) or professional development area.
• Should be 1-3 minutes in length.
• Include you, students, church friends, or family members.
• Have an RSS feed.
• Must be posted with the RSS feed to your blog/website.
As you film:
- Ensure subjects are properly lit.
- Implement the rule of thirds.
- Use at least five different shot types.
- Shoot to edit.
After shooting:
- Upload video to computer.
- Import footage into editing software.
- Edit footage

Here is how to create a search-based Flickr slideshow of any search term:
- Visit Flickr’s advanced search at http://www.flickr.com/search/advanced.
- Scroll down, and click on “
- Type in a keyword and run a search.
- Sort by “Most relevant” or “Most interesting.”
- Click the Slideshow button in the top right corner.
