Create a strong web presence by commenting on five educational technology blogs each week. Bookmark the website you commented on at Diigo.com, and add the sites to http://groups.diigo.com/group/educ515.
Assignment: Weekly Blog
Create a web site with an educational, or educational technology, blog. Share relevant insights geared toward either the student or professional community. Publish weekly posts from December 2 through January 13.
Here’s how:
Send an email to post@posterous.com. On the email, attach the audio file (your podcast). The subject of the email is the title of the blog post, and the body of the email is the post. People can subscribe to this blog with the rss feed: feed://yourblogname.posterous.com/rss.xml.
Assignment: Audio Podcast
Create, edit, and post an audio podcasts.
Podcasts:
• Can be instructional, or an example of a project.
• Must focus on an academic area (math, science, P.E., etc) or professional development area.
• Include you, students, church friends, or family members.
• Have an RSS feed.
• Must be posted with the RSS feed to your blog/website.
