Robert Rodriguez gives tips for filmmakers in this video. I’ve been making videos for a while now, and this guy still amazes me. The way he talks about shooting to edit is industry-changing. Since I re-discovered this video (it’s a special feature on El Mariachi), I’ve watched it about five times. A great watch if you’re making full-length films, short films, or podcasts.

There are some fundamental ways you can make your photography and videography look more professional. When you compose a shot, think about these types of shots:
